I looked at Patrick Caulfield’s work The Hermit. I liked this work because I would like to be that man. To be able to sit and think in that kind of solitude is a luxury that I would love to experience. The man has got the bare essentials to live – food and water.
I always put a poppy in my work because it is about remembrance.
